We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Recovery Nurse with orthopaedic experience to join our incredibly friendly team of professionals.

Recovery nurses provide crucial care to patients before and after surgery. They treat a wide range of patients, including newborns and elderly. Recovery nurses track the progress of patients’ conditions, and make sure patients receive adequate rest, food, fluids and nutrients. Moreover they have to assist surgeons.  Recovery nurses teach patients how to clean their bandages, take medication and care for themselves after they leave the hospital.

-Duties

The main duties of recovery nurse:

1.     Setting up sophisticated equipment to monitor vital signs;

2.     Dealing with orders from several physicians; and watching for potentially life-threatening complications.

3.     Taking a few blood pressures and doing some post-operative teaching.

4.     Receiving, assessing and delivering care on the patient's arrival into the post anaesthetic care unit.

5.     Monitoring the patient's health and support them, providing appropriate care and treatment until the patient has recovered from the effects of the anaesthesia and/or surgery and is stable.

6.     Evaluating the care given during the perioperative phases (anaesthetics, surgery, recovery).

Music and dancing in bars and clubs is not allowed during the month of Ramadan.

-Work Day

During the day person is working 8 hours with the lunch break. Working day envolves all recovery nurse duties and task which must be done at the end of the working day.
