The Infection Control Practitioner is responsible for executing and maintaining the number of aspects of the Infection Control Program in the Health care company. He/she is collaborating between all departments and the Infection Control Committee. You as a Infection Control Practitioner carry on a routine monitoring program of patients and personnel. As well as the environmental problems which may cause a real or potential danger to the well-being of patients, visitors, or personnel of the Health Care Company.

-Duties

The aim of the job is to improve yourself as a profesional. The main duties of Infection Control Practitioner :

  1. Completes routine surveillance and monitoring of patients and employees for epidemiologically significant infections to ensure the consistent identification and control of nosoconial infection.
  2. Acts as a resource and consultant to all departments in each facility to ensure the maintenance of appropriate infection control standards and regulations.
  3. Assists all departments in planning infection control programs in their areas, communicating clearly and effectively with leadership and staff.
  4. Serves as a consultant to all department directors in developing or revising policies and procedures for the prevention and control of infection in their areas.
  5. Participates in the evaluation of products designed to decrease the incidence of infection.
  6. Maintains a working relationship with Employee Health Service in management and treatment of personnel exposed to or ill from specific communicable diseases.
  7. Works with Quality Council in establishing, implementing, evaluating and revising infection control policies and procedures for the facilities.
  8. Prepares all infection control data for Quality Council meetings; surveillance reports, agenda and reports of special investigations.
  9. Supports and participates in interdisciplinary and collaborative quality improvement programs by measuring and assessing performance and by providing educational and in-service support.
  10. Demonstrates knowledge and practice of current safety goals and policies.

The Health Care Comapny is looking for a female candidate who has at least 5 years exxperience in the field of infection. The successful candidate has to be 25-35 years old, speak very good English. Arabic language is considered as an advantage.
