A Leisure Company in Dubai is looking for an enthusiastic Sales Manager for Food and Beverage department. You as a sales manager will develop a Sales team and improve a Sales plan that increases revenue by multiplying the sales from in-room services and conference facilities space. You will collaborate with team members of conference and events department as well as with team members of in-room service department.

-Duties

The aim of this job is to improve yourself as a profesional. The main duties of Food and Beverage Sales Manager:

  • Establish client base of individuals, organizations, associations, social and/or corporate businesses through direct outside and inside sales efforts to secure business for the hotel to ensure that revenue goals are met or exceeded. 
  • Develop and implement local marketing efforts including through the use of social media
  • Work closely with other hotel departments to facilitate services agreed upon by the sales office and prospective clients.  Disseminate sales-related information to other departments as appropriate.
  • Arrange and conduct special events, site inspections and off-site presentations for potential clients. 
  • Produce monthly sales-related reports and sales forecasts for assigned area of responsibility.
  • Interact with;
    • Guests – to ensure their total satisfaction
    • Airlines, wholesalers, corporate accounts, travel agencies, ad agencies, etc. – to ensure repeat business, follow up on events, and generate new business
    • Other contacts as needed (Professional organizations, community groups)
  • Assist client in menu planning for special events and coordinate food, beverage, table arrangements and decorations.

Due to the strict licensing laws, many venues serving alcohol are located in hotels, but there are particular areas of the city with significant numbers of independent establishments such as Wafi City and the Irish Village in Garhoud. Music and dancing in bars and clubs is not allowed during the month of Ramadan.

Dubai offers a particularly good standard of world-class entertainment, being on the international circuit for many theatre and dance groups, rock bands, singers, comedians and other entertainers.

Some of the most popular nightclubs and bars in Dubai include Trilogy, Leftbank, The Agency at the Emirates Towers Hotel, Barasti Bar at the Dubai International Marine Club in Umm Sugeim, the Blue Bar at the Dubai International Convention Centre on Sheik Zayed Road, and Seville's at the Pyramids, Wafi City. -Work Day

During the day person is working 8 hours with the lunch break. Working day invludes the tasks and duties of the Food and Beverage Sales Manager which must be filfilled by the end of the orking day.
