English As a Bar waiter / waitress you will ensure that all guests are served to the company standard in the Bar or Lounge areas. Ensure that the highest standards of hospitality and welcome are demonstrated at all times within all food and beverage areas.
Additionally you will serve and explain drinks, cocktails and coffees to guests including ingredients and discussing any allergy information. Take and deliver accurate drink orders to guest as per the hotel standards.
-Duties
Your duties may include: * Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar and restaurant units * Interact with customers, take orders and serve snacks and/or drinks * Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations * Check customers’ identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age * Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies * Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience * Accurately total, process and collect payments from guests to include, but not limited to, using the point-of-sale system * Clear tables and prepare for service by polishing cutlery, glassware and crockery etc * To ensure a very good relationship between the Bar, other F&B outlet, Kitchen, housekeeping & Front of the House. * Collect empty glasses/ bottles * Keep the area of the bar and sitting area clean * Make sure about customers' safety and satisfaction * Perform any other assigned reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned or as requested by Supervisors or manager of the Food and Beverage Department * Comply withe the orders of the bar supervisor * Comply with hygiene regulations of the hotel * Comply with all food and beverage regulations

-Work Day
The day starts with direct meeting with your supervisor. During the day person is working 8 hours with breaks for meals. In the evening, trainees usually have day evaluation meeting, where they can discuss all the difficulties which happened during the day, dinner and free time. On day-off trainees can plan their day in the way they want, participation in the meetings is not obligatory.
