This position enables the student to try himself in different areas of customer service. Starting from bar, restaurant and ending with the front office and guest relations. Thus, a student in a short time will receive a maximum of experience and skills, which in the future will be a big plus for a career.
-Duties
While doing practice in this hotel you will be able to try yourself in different departments: Bar, Restaurant, Reception, Sales, Guest Relations, Public Relations.
In the bar position a trainee will have to assist with open and close duties, keep the bar clean, sweep and mop the floor, empty trash receptacles as well as take orders, prepare drinks, open tabs, and process payments.
In Food and Beverage Department your duties will mostly include: greeting clients, presenting them with the menu and informing guests about the specialties of the day and menu changes if any, preparing set ups for tables, performing cleaning tasks as needed or directed by a supervisor, communicating with guests and providing assistance with their requests, managing guest inquiries, coordinating with the kitchen/bar staff to ensure smooth operation and guests’ satisfaction. Your duties might include both a’la carte and buffet restaurant service.
Receptionist/Guest Relations trainee responsibilities include greeting the clients as they arrive and providing upscale guest service experiences for clients throughout their stay. Also, a trainee might be assisting with check-in and check-out procedures. Actively listening to and resolving complaints is an essential part of the responsibilities in the mentioned position.
Sales/Guest Relations/Public Relations duties are to encourage people to use hotels services like special nights and special events.

Everybody is eligible to work in hotels, however the program is highly beneficial for those studying a degree related to tourism and hospitality industry. Previous work experience in the same field is considered a huge advantage. We are looking for open-minded people who are ready to work and are willing to meet new challenges in their life.
-Curriculum Activities
There are many ways to spend your free time in Rhodes. The island is full of beautiful beaches and historical sights. The best places to visit in Rhodes are the mediaeval Old Town, the port of Mandraki, the Acropolis of Lindos, the ancient cities of Kamiros and Ialysos, the Valley of the Butterflies and Monolithos: the castle of eagles. The beaches of Rhodes are organized and many of them have water sports centers with fun games. Very popular in Rhodes is windsurfing and kite surfing. The best windsurfing spot is Prassonissi, on the southern side of the island, but Theologos, Ixia and other beaches close to Rhodes Town are also nice for these sports. You can also spend your day off having fun in a big water park which is located in Faliraki.
-Work Day
You will be working 8 hours per day with a break for your meal. There are different shifts at the hotel so you may be working in the morning,evening or night shift. You might have a straight shift (work 8 hours in arow) or a split-shift (work 4 hours first and after a break work another 4 hours).
