Bar Service Trainee is responsible for informing customers about our drinks menu, making recommendations based on their preferences. You should also be able to work in different shifts.
-Duties
Your duties may include:
* Preparation of alcohol or nonalcoholic beverages for bar and restaurant units
* Interaction with customers, take orders and serve snacks and/or drinks
* Assessing customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations
* Checking customers’ identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
* Restocking and replenish bar inventory and supplies
* Staying guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
* Accurately total, processing and collecting payments from guests to include, but not limited to, using the point-of sale system
* Clearing tables and prepare for service by polishing cutlery, glassware and crockery etc.
* Ensuring a very good relationship between the Bar, other F&B outlet, Kitchen, housekeeping & Front of the House.
* Collecting empty glasses/ bottles
* Keeping the area of the bar and sitting area clean
* Making sure about customers' safety and satisfaction
* Performing any other assigned reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned or as requested by Supervisors or manager of the Food and Beverage Department
* Complying with the orders of the bar supervisor
* Complying with all hygiene regulations of the hotel
* Complying with all food and beverage regulations.

Everybody is eligible to work in hotels, however the program is highly beneficial for those studying a degree related to tourism and hospitality industry. Previous work experience in the same field is considered a huge advantage. We are looking for open-minded people who are ready to work and are willing to meet new challenges in their life.

The most famous attraction in the vicinity in Cyprus is the birthplace of Aphrodite. Near Limassol there is an interesting place - Governor's beach, the water near the coast is almost milky in color, and the rocks are clean chalk polished with water. Between Paphos and Limassol, closer to Paphos, are the famous ancient ruins - Kourion. One of the most spectacular sights of Cyprus. Dancing fountains, located in the town of Protaras. Lovers of club life is perfect - Ayia Napa which deservedly gained the reputation of the “second Ibiza” for the unprecedented density of pubs and clubs (about 30 in total), an international audience flowing from all over the world, and the coolest parties organized by British DJs.
-Work Day
You will be working 8 hours per day with a break for your meal. There are different shifts at the hotel so you may be working in the morning,evening or night shift. You might have a straight shift (work 8 hours in arow) or a split-shift (work 4 hours first and after a break work another 4 hours).
