Bar Service Treinee is responsible for informing customers about our drinks menu, making recommendations based on their preferences. You should also be able to work in different shifts. 

-Duties

Your duties may include:
* Preparation of alcohol or nonalcoholic beverages for bar and restaurant units
* Interaction with customers, take orders and serve snacks and/or drinks
* Assessing customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations
* Checking customers’ identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
* Restocking and replenish bar inventory and supplies
* Staying guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
* Accurately total, processing and collecting payments from guests to include, but not limited to, using the point-of sale system
* Clearing tables and prepare for service by polishing cutlery, glassware and crockery etc.
* Ensuring a very good relationship between the Bar, other F&B outlet, Kitchen, housekeeping & Front of the House.
* Collecting empty glasses/ bottles
* Keeping the area of the bar and sitting area clean
* Making sure about customers' safety and satisfaction
* Performing any other assigned reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned or as requested by Supervisors or manager of the Food and Beverage Department
* Complying with the orders of the bar supervisor
* Complying with all hygiene regulations of the hotel
* Complying with all food and beverage regulations.

-Area Description

-Requirements

Everybody is eligible to work in hotels, however the program is highly beneficial for those studying a degree related to tourism and hospitality industry. Previous work experience in the same field is considered a huge advantage. We are looking for open-minded people who are ready to work and are willing to meet new challenges in their life.

-Curriculum Activities

There are many ways to spend your free time in Rhodes. The island is full of beautiful beaches and historical sights. The best places to visit in Rhodes are the mediaeval Old Town, the port of Mandraki, the Acropolis of Lindos, the ancient cities of Kamiros and Ialysos, the Valley of the Butterflies and Monolithos: the castle of eagles. The beaches of Rhodes are organized and many of them have water sports centers with fun games. Very popular in Rhodes is windsurfing and kite surfing. The best windsurfing spot is Prassonissi, on the southern side of the island, but Theologos, Ixia and other beaches close to Rhodes Town are also nice for these sports. You can also spend your day off having fun in a big water park which is located in Faliraki.

-Work Day

You will be working 8 hours per day with a break for your meal. There are different shifts at the hotel so you may be working in the morning,evening or night shift. You might have a straight shift (work 8 hours in arow) or a split-shift (work 4 hours first and after a break work another 4 hours).
