We are looking for a skilled cook to prepare delicious meals according to menu. You will cook dishes that will delight our customers with their taste and timely delivery. As a cook you must be able to follow instructions in cooking and delivering well-prepared meals. You must be deft in moving around the kitchen and apt in multi-tasking. Experience in using various ingredients and cooking techniques is also important and beneficial.
-Duties
As a cook, your main duties will include: Setting up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment, preparing ingredients to use in cooking (chopping and peeling vegetables, cutting meat etc.), cooking food in various utensils or grillers, keeping the workstation clean and communicating with the restaurant workers.

Granada, capital of the province of the same name, is in south-eastern Spain, in the autonomous region of Andalusia. Granada is a vibrant, friendly and lively metropolis that is full of culture. It's known for grand examples of medieval architecture dating to the Moorish occupation, especially the Alhambra. This sprawling hilltop fortress complex encompasses royal palaces, serene patios, and reflecting pools from the Nasrid dynasty, as well as the fountains and orchards of the Generalife gardens.
-Requirements
Everybody is eligible in working in hotels, but the program is highly beneficial for those studying a degree related to tourism and hospitality. Previous work experience in the same field is considered an advantage.
-Curriculum Activities
You can spend you free time as you like. Rich in history and culture, Granada is arguably the single most worthwhile city in Spain for visitors. In addition to a rich multicultural history, the Alhambra and other monuments, a student-driven nightlife, and skiing and trekking in the nearby Sierra Nevada, Granada offers a break from the summer heat of other Andalusian cities such as Córdoba or Seville. Interesting places to see in Granada are: Plaza Isabel la Catolica, Cathedral of Granada, Royal Chapel, Madraza Palace, Plaza de Bib-Rambla ,Alcaiceria, Corral del Carbón, Plaza Nueva, and Museo San Juan de Dios.
-Work Day
You will be working 8 hours per day with a break for your meal. There are different shifts at the hotel so you may be working in the morning, evening or night shift. You might have a straight shift (work 8 hours in a row) or a split-shift (work 4 hours first and after a break work another 4 hours).
