We are looking for an ambitious and hard working Food and Beverage attendant to who can join our team of professionals and offer an excellent service to our customers. The food and beverage attendant may is responsible for service in Food and Beverage outlets in the hotel such as restaurants and bars. The right Waiter/Waitress uplifts the dining experience of demanding customers. We are looking for someone who will have the patience, personality and perseverance to thrive in this role.

-Duties

Your duties as Food and Beverage Attendant may include: -Working in the main buffet restaurant, A' la carte restaurant or bars such as Pool Bar, Beach Bar, Lobby Bar or any other bar located in the hotel area inside the premises - Ensuring a very good relationship between the Restaurant, Bar and other F&B outlets, Kitchen, housekeeping & Front office -Greet and escort customers to their tables -Present menu and provide detailed information when asked (e.g. about portions, ingredients or potential food allergies) -Prepare tables by setting up linens, silverware and glasses -Polish cutlery and glasses -Inform customers about the day’s specials, if any -Offer menu recommendations upon request -Up-sell additional products when appropriate -Take accurate food and drinks orders, using a special ordering software,order slips or by memorization -Check customers’ IDs to ensure they meet minimum age requirements for consumption of alcoholic beverages -Communicate order details to the Kitchen Staff -Serve food and drink orders -Check dishes and kitchenware for cleanliness and presentation and report any problems -Arrange table settings and maintain a tidy dining area -Deliver checks and collect bill payments -Carry dirty plates, glasses and silverware to kitchen for cleaning -While working in the A'la Carte restaurant: Meet with restaurant staff to review daily specials, changes on the menu and service specifications for reservations (e.g. parties) -Follow all relevant health department regulations -Follow all hygiene regulations -Follow supervisors directions -Provide excellent customer service to guests

Ayia Napa/ Protaras lies near Cape Greco at the eastern part of Cyprus, south of Famagusta, and forms part of a larger area known as Kokkinochoria ("Red Villages", a name derived from the vivid red colour of the soil). It is a town of the Famagusta District, in the remaining Greek-controlled southern part of the district, while the northern part has been occupied by Turkish forces since 1974. Ayia Napa is about 8 kilometres (5.0 mi) from Protaras, a town that has recently seen similar development, but still manages to remain low-key and remains more favourable for families and Cypriot locals.

At night time in Ayia Napa there are beach parties, foam parties and paint parties or visit the fun fair, the haunted house or just enjoy a tasty meal in a local restaurant before strolling around the shops on bustling Nissi Avenue. -Work Day

You will be working 8 hours per day plus a break for your meal. There are different shifts at the hotel so you may be working in the morning, evening, night or split shift. You might have a straight shift (work 8 hours in a row) or a split-shift (work 4 hours first and after a break work another 4 hours).
