Hotel receptionists greet incoming guests and welcome them to the hotel. They confirm reservations, explain hotel amenities, give directions to rooms, and produce room keys. They also arrange for luggage to be brought to rooms upon request.

1. Welcome and greet guests. 2.Answer and direct incoming calls. 3.Inform guests of hotel rates and services. 4.Make and confirm reservations for guests. 5.Ensure proper room allocation. 6.Register and check guests in. 7.Confirm relevant guest information. 8.Issue room keys and direct guests to their rooms. 8.Receive and transmit messages for guests. 9.Retrieve mail, packages and documents such as faxes for guests. 10.Listen and respond to guest queries and requests both in-person and by phone. 11.Provide accurate information about local attractions and services. 12.Inform housekeeping when rooms have been vacated and are ready for cleaning. 13.Enforce rules and policies of the hotel

Santa Cruz de Tenerife is the island's capital and shared capital of the Canary Island. Its deep natural harbour has historically led to a period of wealth and many fine historic buildings can be seen in the city. Even today the harbour is one of the busiest in Spain and is also an important harbour for the cruise ships which visit Tenerife from around the world. Santa Cruz's main beach is 'Las Teresitas' which is a fine golden beach courtesy of millions of tonnes of sand from the Sahara desert. With palm trees and a back-drop of the Anaga mountains it is consisdered the most beautiful beach on Tenerife.

-Curriculum Activities

Tenerife is the island of a thousand experiences. You can get lost in nature, relax on the beach, climb Teide, go shopping, see a show, walk the old town cobbles, have fun at a theme park, play golf .
Fill yourself with energy with an endless selection of activities but, above all, don't leave Tenerife without trying the food, Sit on a terrace with sea views and taste the local shrimps: A delicious experience.

-Work Day

The shifts can be straight or split. The straight shift means that the trainee will work 8 hours directly, however split shift means that the trainee will work two times four hours with a longer break in-between the shifts. During the day the trainee works 8 hours plus break. In the evening trainees have day and possible evaluation meeting, where they can discuss all the difficulties that happened during the day. On day-off trainees can plan their day in the way they want, participation in the meetings is not obligatory.
